Ingredients
- 2 duck breast
- salt and pepper
- 1 large orange, juiced
- 1/2 cup fig preserves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
How To Make duck breast with fig orange sauce

Step 1Score the skin on the duck breast in a diamond shape. Lay the breast skin side down in a cold pan. As the pan heats up the fat will render. About 10 minutes. Flip the duck and cook for about 5 more minutes. Let the breast rest for about 10 minutes

Step 2To make the sauce, pour out the fat in the pan and add the orange juice to deglaze the pan. Stir in the fig preserves, honey, and soy sauce. Let it reduce by half then stir in 1 Tbsp duck fat. Serve with sliced duck breast.
