1 pkg
dried apricot halves (6 ounces)

walnut pieces
2 c
1/2 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
ground black pepper
1/4 tsp
ground ginger
1/4 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp
cloves, ground

How to Make Turkey with Fruit Stuffing


  • 1Cut 3 parallel, lengthwise, 1-inch deep slits in each turkey breast half.
  • 2Place turkey breast halves flat in a buttered roasting pan.
  • 3Cut dates in thirds.
  • 4Cut apricot halves in fourths.
  • 5Combine dates, apricots and remaining ingredients in saucepan.
  • 6Heat, stirring constantly.
  • 7Simmer 2 minutes, stirring.
  • 8Cool slightly.
  • 9Fill slits in turkey with fruit mixture.
  • 10Roast in preheated 325-degree oven 2 hours.
  • 11Cut each breast half in 6 slices.
