Another recipe from my Ruralite Magazine,"Lovin Turkey Leftovers" the recipe doesn't say to serve turnovers with leftover turkey gravy as a dipping sauce.But I think it would be good served that way.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey,shredded
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded(about 4oz)
  • 1 cup cooked broccoli,chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 packages (8oz) refrigerated cresent rolls

How To Make turkey turnovers

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven 375F.Combine all the ingredients except the crescent rolls in a large bowl.
  • Step 2
    Separate each package of crescent rolls into four squares;press diagonal perforations to seal.
  • Step 3
    Spoon the turkey filling onto the center of each square.Fold the dough diagonally over filling to form triangles and press edges firmly to seal.
  • Step 4
    Arrange the turnovers on a baking sheet and brush the tops lightly with additional mayonaise.
  • Step 5
    Bake 12 minutes or until the turnovers are golden. Serve warm.
