I invited a good friend over one time and made these tacos,she told me they are good just gringo style, gringo or not,they're good! You can also use ground chicken or pork.

ground turkey
salsa
cumin
salt and pepper
garlic powder
oil
corn tortillas
shredded cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce
minced onions
chopped cilantro
sour cream

How to Make Turkey Tacos-Gringo Style

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown turkey,drain any grease. Add part of the salsa,cumin,garlic powder and cumin. Cook together 2-3 minutes.
    Heat oil in skillet. Each tortilla will only take a couple of minutes to cook.
    Place a tortilla in the oil, after a second or so, fold in half,cook on each side holding the tortillas slightly open. You'll have to experiment to see how crispy you like your shells, the longer you cook them, the crispier they will get.
    Place your shells on a paper grocery bag or a bunch of paper towels to soak up the excess oil.
    To put tacos together,add meat to tortillas,cheese,tomatoes,lettuce,onions,cilantro,additional salsa and sour cream.
