Ingredients

Add to Grocery List

1 lb
ground turkey (if you prefer use beef)
1 can(s)
black beans, canned
1 pkg
taco seasoning mix
1 can(s)
corn
1 can(s)
rotel (or any other brand/combination you prefer, tomatoes w/chillies, lime, celantro, etc.)

ADDITIONAL TOPPONGS

cheese, shredded
sour cream
green onions
favorite taco toppings
taco shells (flour or hard shell) or tortilla chips

How to Make Turkey tacos

Step-by-Step

  • 1Brown meat and drain (if using ground beef I prefer to rinse the meat to get rid of some of the extra fat).
  • 2Prepare meat with taco seasoning as stated on the package (I personally use the Old ElPaso in the shacker can and adjust to my own taste).
  • 3In the mean time drain and rinse the black beans. Drain the corn and drain some of the juice from the tomatoes.
  • 4Once the meat with seasoning has been cooked, add the beans, corn, and tomatoes to the meat in a skillet. Heat through and then serve. We eat it both as tacos and nachos.
