turkey stuffed pepper
You can use any kind of pepper to stuff. You can also cut peppers in half and stuff them and lie flat in pan. Takes less time to cook that way. If your trying to eat healthier you can replace the white rice with cauliflower rice. If you want yours saucier add more sauce. This recipe feeds 2 people so you can also make more peppers and increase ingredients to make more servings.

Ingredients
- 2 medium green bell peppers
- 10 ounces ground white turkey 97% fat free
- 2 cups hunt's no salt tomato sauce
- 1 cup instant white rice
- 1/4 cup chopped sweet onion
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- grated parmesan cheese, optional
How To Make turkey stuffed pepper

Step 1Cut tops off of peppers, wash and remove seeds shake to remove any excess water.

Step 2In a glass Pyrex dish or casserole dish, spoon about 1/2 cup of sauce on bottom.

Step 3Boil rice and let sit 5 min covered, then remove cover and fluff with fork. In a med sized bowl combine ground turkey, rice, black pepper and onion and take mixture and stuff each pepper with meat mixture to the top of pepper.

Step 4Add remaining sauce on top then cover with foil and bake in a 350 degree pre heated oven for about an hour or until a fork stuck in pepper shows pepper is soft and meat is done. Top with sauce from bottom of pan and grated cheese if you want too.
