I like stir fries and this can be made with turkey or chicken breasts and add other vegetables as well.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 pound turkey breast
  • 2 tablespoons canola or vegetable oil divded
  • 1 cup celery. sliced
  • 3/4 cup carrot sliced thin
  • 1 cup sliced red or yellow onion
  • 1 cup white button mushrooms sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can {8 0unce water chestnuts drained and sliced
  • 1//2 cup slivered almonds or sesame seeds {optional}
  • 1 cup sliced red or yellow pepper
  • - s and p to taste

How To Make turkey stir fry

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl combine the first ingredients, whisk until well combined..slice the turkey in 1/2 inch slices put the oil in a fry pan and when hot saute the turkey until no longer pink. remove and keep warm.
  • Step 2
    In the same skillet fry all the vegies stirring often mix together the stock and cornstarch and add to pan along with the turkey and garlic and cook for 4 minutes until the sauce thickens.add the chestnuts . ,,serve over rice.
  • Step 3
    Remove from stove place in serving bowl and sprinkle with the almonds
