I like stir fries and this can be made with turkey or chicken breasts and add other vegetables as well.

2 Tbsp
1 c
chicken stock
1 tsp
2 Tbsp
soy sauce, low sodium
1 lb
turkey breast
2 Tbsp
canola or vegetable oil divded
1 c
celery. sliced
3/4 c
carrot sliced thin
1 c
sliced red or yellow onion
1 c
white button mushrooms sliced
2 clove
garlic minced
1 can(s)
{8 0unce water chestnuts drained and sliced
1//2 c
slivered almonds or sesame seeds {optional}
1 c
sliced red or yellow pepper
s and p to taste

How to Make Turkey Stir Fry


  • 1In a small bowl combine the first ingredients, whisk until well combined..slice the turkey in 1/2 inch slices put the oil in a fry pan and when hot saute the turkey until no longer pink. remove and keep warm.
  • 2In the same skillet fry all the vegies stirring often mix together the stock and cornstarch and add to pan along with the turkey and garlic and cook for 4 minutes until the sauce thickens.add the chestnuts . ,,serve over rice.
  • 3Remove from stove place in serving bowl and sprinkle with the almonds
