Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds chicken broth
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 4 - carrots, cut in 1
- 2 - onions, quartered
- 2 - stalks celery, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 cups water, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 1 - bay leaf
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup biscuit mix
- 1/3 cup milk
- 4 ounces canned chicken broth
How To Make turkey stew with dumplings

Step 1Saute bacon in Dutch oven until partially crisp.

Step 2Cut turkey into 1 inch chunks and add with onion.

Step 3Saute until meat is no longer pink.

Step 4Add carrots, celery, 1 and 3/4 cup water, broth, rosemary and bay leaf.

Step 5Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.

Step 6Mix flour with 1/4 cup water and stir into stew mixture.

Step 7Bring to boil, stirring constantly.

Step 8Remove bay leaf.

Step 9Salt and pepper to taste.

Step 10Mix Bisquick and milk and drop by rounded tablespoons onto stew.

Step 11Cook uncovered for 10 minutes.

Step 12Cover and cook 10 minutes longer.
