I created this recipe when I accidently got out turkey breast fillets instead of chicken fillets to make chicken cordon bleau (?spelling) My son was around 5 at the time and decided they should be called Turkey Roll-ups.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil, extra virgin
  • - flour
  • - salt
  • - pepper
  • - ham, deli sliced thin
  • - swiss cheese slices
  • - turkey breast filets or turkey chops

How To Make turkey roll-ups

  • Step 1
pound your turkey filets till they are about 1/4 inch thick.
  • Step 2
place 1 piece of ham and 1 slice of cheese on the one filet, and roll it up.
  • Step 3
mix flour, salt, and pepper in a bowl and roll the turkey rolls in it.
  • Step 4
heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Step 5
place turkey rolls in skillet seam side down. This will keep them from coming apart as you turn them as they cook.
  • Step 6
cook, turning occasionally until golden brown on all sides.
