Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons parsley, chopped
  • 1.5 pounds turkey tenderloin, cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 14.5 ounces beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 5/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup tomato puree
  • fettuccine pasta
  • parmesan cheese, grated

How To Make turkey primavera

  • Step 1
    Combine flour and parsley; add turkey and toss to coat.
  • Step 2
    In a skillet, brown turkey in oil; remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  • Step 3
    In the same skillet, combine chicken broth, mushrooms, onion garlic and green pepper.
  • Step 4
    Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Add beef broth, tomato puree and seasonings.
  • Step 6
    Cook and stir for 20-25 minutes or until sauce is desired consistency.
  • Step 7
    Add turkey; heat through.
  • Step 8
    Remove the bay leaf.
  • Step 9
    Serve over pasta; sprinkle with cheese if desired.
