Ingredients

  • TURKEY MIXTURE

  • 2 c
    carrots, sliced
  • 1 c
    chicken broth
  • 3 c
    milk
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 4 c
    cooked turkey, cubed
  • 1 pkg
    frozen peas (19 oz)
  • BISCUITS

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 4 tsp
    green onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 2 tsp
    dried sage

How to Make Turkey Pot Pie with Home-made Biscuits

Step-by-Step

  1. Spray or grease a 9 x 13 " pan. in a large saucepan, combine carrots and broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and cover Simmer for 5 minutes until crisp tender.
  2. Preheat oven to 400 F. In a bowl, combine milk and flour. Add to carrot mixture along with butter and salt. Boil for one minute and then add turkey and peas. Pour into greased casserole dish, set aside.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine biscuit ingredients. Drop dough by large spoonfuls evenly onto turkey mixture. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
