Everyone LOVES Turkey pie, even more than the tukey dinner it follows.

3 c
leftover turkey, cut up
3 c
leftover cooked vegetables, peas, carrots, creamed onions, mushrooms, ect
1/2 can(s)
cranberry sauce, jellied or whole berry
1 c
leftover turkey gravy
2 to 3 c
leftover turkey stuffing or dressing


6 c
leftover mashed potatoes, cold
egg yolks
1/4 c
melted butter, cooled
1/4 c
all purpose flour
1/4 c
grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp
black pepper
1/8 tsp
prepared pie shell
leftover gravy

How to Make Turkey Pie


  • 1preheat oven to 375
  • 2For the filling:
    Mix all ingredients in large bowl, set aside.
  • 3For the topping:
    Mix the potatoes and eggs first, then the rest of the ingredients, set aside.
  • 4Lay your prepared pie shell in a deep dish pie dish. I use the roll out kind, because the ones that come in a tin are not deep enough.
  • 5form your edging the way you like.
  • 6pour filling into shell, pressing down to fill holes.
  • 7spread topping over filling, pressing down to seal all holes.
  • 8Bake for about an hour, hour and 15 minutes, or until topping is golden brown. Remove from oven and set on counter for 10 minutes before serving.
  • 9serve with gravy, if desired.
