Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon italian herb blend
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked pepper

How To Make turkey patties in mushroom wine sauce

  • Step 1
    Saute half the mushrooms and the chopped onion in butter in a large frying pan.
  • Step 2
    Combine sauteed vegetables with turkey, egg, salt and herbs.
  • Step 3
    Shape turkey mixture into 4 patties.
  • Step 4
    Broil 3-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  • Step 5
    While patties are cooking, add remaining mushrooms, wine and pepper to frying pan.
  • Step 6
    Simmer gently and serve sauce over patties.
