I make this every year using what is leftover - dark or white meat. You can also add chopped potato for a variation.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped red bell pepper
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked turkey, chopped
  • 1 c
    turkey gravy
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • to taste
    salt and pepper

How to Make Turkey Hash

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute vegetables in butter until limp. Add remaining ingredients and simmer until blended, about 15 to 20 minutes. The hash is better if made the day before, and it freezes well.
    Serves 6 to 8
