green chiles

minced garlic clove

olive oil

chopped onion
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
oregano
1/2 c
water
1 1/2 lb
stewed tomatoes

How to Make Turkey Enchiladas

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine turkey with sour cream, cheese and 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 2Heat 1/3 cup oil and dip tortillas in until soft and drain.
  • 3Stuff with turkey mix and roll.
  • 4Arrange side-by-side with seam side down in shallow pan.
  • 5Turkey Sauce: Rinse seeds from chiles and chop.
  • 6Saute with garlic in oil.
  • 7Add stewed tomatoes, onions, 1 teaspoon salt, oregano and water.
  • 8Simmer uncovered until thick, about 1/2 hour.
  • 9Pour chili sauce over enchiladas and bake at 350 degrees 20-30 minutes.
  • 10Let set 5-10 minutes before serving.
