Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning mix
- 5 - soft shell tortillas
- 1 cup shredded tex mex cheese
- 1/2 cup medium salsa
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1 cup bell pepper, diced, reserve half for the end
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 - diced tomato
How To Make turkey burrito cassarole

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Step 2brown ground turkey. Add in onion and peppers, saute for 5 minutes.

Step 3Add in taco seasoning, cumin and water. Cook unitl sauce reduces and thickens, approx. 5 2 minutes. Add in salsa.

Step 4Using a pie plate use a small amount of sauce on bottom top with a tortilla, add more sauce top with 1/3 of the cheese. Continue with layering, ending with sauce and cheese.

Step 5Place pie plate in oven for 20 minutes or until ceese on top is melted and bubbly. Top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes and peppers, serve with guacamole and sour cream.
