If your like a good club sandwich, you'll love this creamy salad. It's perfect for those hot summer days. It's quick and easy, too. For a change, instead of using store bought croutons, make your own or serve each serving on a piece of toasted, buttered bread! Hope you'll like it!

    8 ounce bags shredded iceberg lettuce (or a medium head, shredded)
  • 1/3 lb
    good quality deli ham, cut into thin strips
  • 1/3 lb
    good quality deli turkey breast, cut into thin strips
  • 8
    slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 3
    medium sized roma tomatoes, diced
  • 3/4 c
    hellmann's mayonaisse
  • 1/4 c
    milk
  • 1 tsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    fresh ground pepper
  • 1
    5 ounce bag croutons

How To Make the club-sandwich-you-eat-with-a-fork salad

    In a large bowl, combine the lettuce, ham, turkey, bacon and tomatoes. Set aside.

    In a medium bowl, combine the Hellmann's Mayonaisse, milk, vinegar, salt and pepper. Stir vigorously to combine.

    Pour dressing over contents in large bowl, Toss gently to combine. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.

    To serve: transfer to serving dishes and top with croutons.
