Ingredients

  • 3/4 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1.25 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1
    egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    basil
  • 1/4 c
    chopped parsley
  • 2
    garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • ·
    salt
  • ·
    pepper

How to Make Spicy Turkey Loaf

Step-by-Step

  1. Saute onions in melted butter.
  2. Stir in ground turkey, egg and bread crumbs.
  3. Combine seasonings and add to turkey mix.
  4. Shape into a loaf and put in a pan.
  5. Refrigerate 1 hour, then cover with tin foil and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
  6. Remove the foil for the last 15 minutes.
  7. Serve hot or cold.
