Ingredients
- 1 bone in turkey breast (6-7 pounds)
- 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 ounce dry onion soup mix
- 1 carrot, chopped into 2 inch pieces
- 1 small onion, quartered
- 1 celery stalk, chopped into 2 inch pieces
- GRAVY
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups liquid from cooking turkey
How To Make slow cooker turkey breast

Step 1Place carrot, celery and onion on bottom of 6 quart crockpot. Place turkey on top of vegetables. Sprinkle with onion soup mix and garlic. Drizzle with melted butter.

Step 2Cover and cook on low for 5 to 7 hours. Use an instant read thermometer. Temperature should be 165 degrees.

Step 3Remove turkey and strain liquid. Reserve 2 cups. If you do not have 2 cups, add chicken broth to make up the difference.

Step 4Add flour and pepper to a medium skillet. Whisk in the 2 cups of cooking liquid. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, whisking constantly.

Step 5Turn heat down to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
