picadillo with a twist
This is a nice twist on traditional picadillo. The bbq sauce adds a nice change of flavor.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey or beef
- 1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can 14.5 oz. can whole tomatoes, undrained and cut up
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup sliced green olives
- 1/3 cup prepared barbecue sauce
- 2-3 tablespoons capers, if desired
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
How To Make picadillo with a twist

Step 1In a large non-stick skillet, brown turkey, green pepper, onion and garlic; drain if necessary.

Step 2Add remaining ingredients except rice. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes to blend flavors.

Step 3Serve over rice.
