not your every day turkey burger

Well I thought I'd play around with a two pound package of ground turkey. Thought I'd make burgers. Well it rained and I couldn't grill them outside so I grilled them inside on my grill pan on top of the stove. My sweetheart loved them. I think I will make them again for sure.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds package of ground turkey
  • 1 small sweet oion, chopped
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 4 slices of american cheese or your favorite cheese
  • - honey mustard, tomates, lettuce.
  • 4 - of your favorite hamburger buns or rolls

How To Make not your every day turkey burger

  • Step 1
    Preheat grill to med-high heat
  • Step 2
    Place ground turkey in medium size bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add onions, green peppers,garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Step 4
    Add soy sauce and mix until all is blened well.
  • Step 5
    Make into four large patties and place on grill to cook. Turning every 3-4 minutes until both side have dark criss-cross pattern on both side and meat is cooked. Turn grill off. Set burgers on top rack of grill to keep warm, until time to serve.
  • Step 6
    Remove from grill and place on your favorite buns or rolls
  • Step 7
    Add cheese, tomatoes, honey mustard and lettuce. Top with top of bun or roll and ENJOY!!!!
