My mom made this when I was a kid, on nights she got home late from work and had to throw something together quick. My daughter loves it.

Ingredients

  • 1 can peas
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can corn
  • 1 box instant mashed potatoes
  • 5 slices american cheese
  • 1 pound ground turkey

How To Make mom's shepards pie

  • Step 1
    Brown ground turkey (or hamburger meat) and drain. Mix Meat, peas, corn and cream of mushroom soup and put in casserole dish. Cook at 350 for 20 mins.
  • Step 2
    Fix instant mashed potatoes while mixture is baking. After 20 mins take mixture out of oven and stir. Add instant mashed potatoes to top of mixture and cook 20 more mins.
  • Step 3
    After 20 mins take out of oven and add cheese to top of casserole. Put back in oven just long enough to let the cheese melt. Let cool and enjoy!
