I lightened this recipe up by using ground turkey instead of ground beef. It was a hit in our home!

Ingredients

  • 12 - cupcake liners
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 1/3 cups itaian bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tablespoon italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 12 - cubes of mozzarella cheese
  • - additional marinara sauce
  • - shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make mini italian meatloaves

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line 12 count muffin tin with cupcake liners. In a large bowl, combine the beaten egg, milk, marinara sauce, uncooked quick cooking oats, ground turkey, Italian seasoning, garlic and bread crumbs.
  • Step 2
    Divide mixture into twelve equal portions. Insert one cheese cube into center of meat and roll in hands to form the meat around the cheese into a ball. Place into muffin tin and continue with remaining meat and cheese.
  • Step 3
    Top with a tablespoon (more or less depending on your preference) and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Step 4
    Bake uncovered on center oven rack for 25 minutes.
