Another way to use leftover turkey during the holidays. I like to add some white pepper to the sauce for a little more oompf.

Ingredients
- 6 slices bread, toasted
- - leftover turkey
- 1 pound bacon, fried and drained
- - grated cheddar cheese
- WHITE SAUCE:
- 1 stick butter
- 8 tablespoons flour
- 4 cups milk
How To Make hot brown casserole

Step 1Lay toasted bread in bottom of a 9-by-13 inch dish.

Step 2Layer with turkey and bacon.

Step 3Pour white sauce over bacon.

Step 4Bake in preheated 350F degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese 5 minutes before removing from oven.

Step 5White sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan. Blend in flour. Add milk, stirring constantly until smooth.
