Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 large green pepper, finely chopped
- 2 - serrano chiles
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 can refried beans
- 1 can chiles, chopped
- 3/4 cup picante sauce
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 8 - tortillas, flour
How To Make ground turkey burritos

Step 1Brown the turkey with onion, peppers and garlic. Drain excess fat.

Step 2Add the remaining ingredients and simmer about 10 minutes.

Step 3Let cool a bit so the mixture is a little firmer.

Step 4Warm the tortillas in the microwave or individually in a frying pan to soften.

Step 5Put a big spoonful in the center of each tortilla, top with some cheese, and wrap, folding the ends within.

Step 6Optional additions:black beans, corn, more chiles, rice, whatever you like.
