grilled turkey, fig and cheese sandwich
This is another great recipe from earthnvine.com. When, I saw this recipe I just had to try it. I love turkey sandwiches and this was so delicious with the fig orange jam that they sell. My husband really loved it too. Let me know what you think.

Ingredients
- 2 slices thick sliced sourdough bread or any bread of your choice
- 3-4 slices generous slices of cooked turkey breast
- 2 slices mahon cheese (our grocery store didn't have this type, so i used a white sharp cheddar
- 2 tablespoons earth & vine provisions fig orange jam
- 1 small amount of argula leaves
- 3-4 slices onion
- 1 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
How To Make grilled turkey, fig and cheese sandwich

Step 1Heat skillet with a little olive oil and grill onion slices until browned and tender.

Step 2Layer one side of bread with sliced cheese, layer with turkey, arugula, and grilled onions.

Step 3Spread other side of bread with Fig Orange Jam. Brush outside of bread slices with olive oil and grill in a pre-heated skillet until golden brown and crusty starting with chees side down.
