How to Make Fast & Easy Turkey
- Preheat oven to 500 degrees (yes,500, it's not a misprint)
- Clean turkey and salt and pepper it. Put a cup of water in the bottom of a large roaster pan. Turn turkey breast side down in pan. Fill cavity with water until full (about 3 cups). Put lid on the roaster pan and set timer for exactly 1 hour. Put it in the oven.
- Shut off oven at 1 hour and leave door SHUT and go to bed.
Turkey will be done in the morning. Make dressing separately. Heat turkey before serving if desired.
