How To Make easy crock pot turkey breast dinner
-
Step 1Spray crock pot with non-stick spray and turn on low
-
Step 2Peel 4-6 carrots, wash, and cut to desired size
-
Step 3Cut onion and place onion and carrot pieces into crock pot
-
Step 4Sprinkle with salt and pepper and any other desired seasonings
-
Step 5Remove the thawed turkey from package. Remove the netting and discard. Place the turkey on the veggies. There typically is a side that has a small fat layer. Place the fat side up.
-
Step 6I used Butterball brand turkey which comes in a few flavors (Cajun, herb, dark meat, etc). There is an enclosed package of gravy. Open the package of gravy and pour over veggies and turkey.
-
Step 7Cook on low for about 6-8 hours. After cooking I pour the liquid out of the crockpot into a saucepan, sprinkle with flour, heat up and make a gravy. Also, you can easily remove the piece of fat from the turkey breast.
-
Step 8You can add potatoes, sweet potatoes, or any other veggies that tickle your fancy and they are equally delicious!
