Since hubby and I must watch our fats and sodium I've been changing my original recipes into a little more healthier. I must say that the flavor is out of this world and I honestly like them much better than traditional meatballs and so did my family!

How To Make delicious turkey meatballs - dana's

  • Step 1
Cut up the bread, add milk and set aside until the bread absorbs the milk. Next crumble the turkey over the bread mixture, cut the casing off the sausage links and add them, add the half cup of parmesan cheese and Mrs. Dash Seasoning and mix well.
  • Step 2
Roll into balls. You can determine the size. (small, medium or large) I made 35 medium meatballs. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Step 3
You can eat these just as they are or you can add sauce. I added Francesco Rinaldi No Salt Added Traditional Spaghetti Sauce sodium is 40 mg for 1/2 cup it has no saturated or trans fats. Carbs are 12 g and the total fat was 2.5 g. I didn't think that was too bad! We made meatball sandwiches topped with onions and peppers that I sauted in fat free cooking spray!
