I used a sausage and chestnut dressing which also had onions and bread cubes.

Ingredients For deconstructed turkey pot pie

  • 2 c
    leftover dressing
  • 2 c
    cooked turkey,diced
  • 2 c
    mixed vegetbles
  • 1/2 c
    french fried onions
  • 2 stalk
    celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 2 pkg
    turkey gravy mix
  • 2 c
    chicken broth

How To Make deconstructed turkey pot pie

    Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2
    Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray and arrange a layer of dressing over the bottom.

    Chop the turkey and add the mixed vegetables, French fried onion, celery, poultry seasoning and thyme. Stir to mix well. Layer on top of the dressing

    Prepare the gravy mixes using the chicken broth and pour evenly over the pot pie.

    Heat in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly. Serve and enjoy.
