Ingredients
- 2 cups chuncked turkey breast - fresh out of the oven
- 2 cups white corn meal mix
- 2 - large eggs
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1-2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped garlic
- 2-3 tablespoons poultry seasoning
- 4-6 cups turkey broth (saved from baked turkey + extra purchased, chicken broth will work)
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 - stalks celery chopped
- 2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- - pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons sugar
How To Make cornbread dressing

Step 1Prepare corn bread: mix corn meal mix, eggs, sugar, 1 tbsp minced garlic, & 1 tsp poultry seasoning. Add milk till soupy. Bake at 450 for 15-20 mins.

Step 2Melt 1/2 stick butter in small skillet. Add chopped onion, 1 tbsp minced garlic & celery, cooking about 4 mins on medium heat.

Step 3Crumble cooled cornbread into 9x13 pan sprayed will non-stick cooking spray.

Step 4Add turkey, sauteed veggies, 1 1/2 sticks melted butter, & add turkey/chicken broth till mixture is very wet almost soupy(atleast 4 cups broth).

Step 5Add poultry seasoning, salt & pepper to taste.

Step 6Baked covered at 375, for one hour.
