Love making these after the holidays a great way to use up left over turkey. Great to heat up a hearty pot pie on a cold night

Ingredients

  • Turkey cup i used left over turkey 2-3 cups
  • 2-3 cups frozen peas and carrots
  • 3 or 4 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 3 or 4 stalks celery diced
  • 6 packages turkey gravy prepared
  • Pie crusts package depending on how many you want to make
  • Egg medium use 1 egg with aliitle water whisp for egg wash

How To Make beautiful and hearty turkey pot pies

  • Step 1
    Chop potatoes, onions, celery, add frozen mixed vegetables cook 10 mins drain
  • Step 2
    Prepare turkey gravy packets or use left over gravy
  • Step 3
    Add turkey to the gravy mix along with the potatoes, celery, peas and carrots and onions
  • Step 4
    Use homemade pie crust or use refrigerated pie crusts. I used disposable mini pot pie containers and made a large one. Freezes well
  • Step 5
    Add pot pie filling to pies
  • Step 6
    Top with pastry
  • Step 7
    Mix egg wash over top add pastry designs if desired . Freeze or bake at 350 degree oven til golden brown
