Perfect for hurry up meals and easy preparation. KIDS LOVE IT! It's great for Bunco too.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Monte Cristo sandwiches are typically fried and we love how this one is baked. It's filled with layers of turkey, ham, and Swiss cheese. Raspberry jam drizzled over top is a must. It adds the sweet and savory flavor contrast to the sandwich. Dijon mustard gives it just a little zing. Using crescent dough is an easy shortcut and creates a crust flaky. A great recipe if you're serving a crowd because it can easily be doubled. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen

  10. Mix egg with water and pour over the dough. Bake for 20 minutes on the center rack of the oven.
  11. Bake until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly and cut into squares.
  12. Serve with jam drizzled over the sandwich or on the side. The jam is an important part of the traditional flavor.
