We frequent a Mexican restaurant here in Pasadena that serves the BEST tostadas! They come with a salad dressing and lot's of lettuce, almost like a salad. When I ate meat,I always ordered the chicken tostadas, now I order the bean or shrimp tostadas.I'm sure the other food is tasty but I've never tried anything else on the menu. The is my version of their tostada and cider dressing. So tasty! You can omit the beef and add cooked, small shrimp scampi as well! The cider dressing makes a nice salad dressing as well.
