Ingredients
- 1/2 package taco seasoning mix
- 1/3 cup water
- 3/4 cup salsa total 6 tbs. filling & 6 tbs to serve
- 1/2 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 can 16.3 pillsbury grands ( or store bought ) refrigerated biscuits
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar monterey jack , mexican cheese blends 2 oz ,
- 1/2 cup sour cream if desired
How To Make grands taco melts ( empanadas)

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees , brown ground beef and drain, add taco seasoning mix , water & 6 Tbs salsa . cook until thickening . press or roll each biscuit into 6' circle . Fill each center with taco mixture ( leaving 1/2' edge ) Spinkle with 1 Tbs. cheese . Fold dough over filling & press edges with fork to seal. Place on a GREASED Cookie sheet, leaving about 2" between each . Bake remaining salsa , cheese and sour cream If desired
