easy chicken tacos
This is usually my 'go-to' for left-over chicken. My kids and grandkids love it, and it is so quick and easy to make.

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 ounces can tomato sauce
- dash each: hot sauce (tabasco), oregano, salt, pepper
- 8 ounces chicken - cooked, boned and chopped
- tortillas or taco shells
- grated cheese, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce
- salsa or hot sauce
How To Make easy chicken tacos

Step 1Cook and bone chicken. In skillet, heat oil; add onion and garlic and saute until onion is translucent, about 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce and seasonings and continue to simmer about 5 minutes longer; add chicken and heat through.

Step 2Divide mixture among tortillas or taco shells and garnish with hot sauce, shredded cheese, lettuce and tomato.
