crunchy dorito taco salad
This is one of my favorite things to eat, so much flavor with not a lot of effort. My family loves to build their own, and this is the perfect recipe to do that.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds hamburger
- 3 packages taco seasoning mix, heat of choice
- 1 bag or so of shredded lettuce
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved or quartered
- 2 cans pitted black olives (lg), sliced
- 1 can red onion, chopped
- 1 bunch scallions/green onions, chopped
- 1 bag mexican or taco shredded cheese (16oz)
- 16 ounces sour cream
- 2 cans refried beans
- 2 bags nacho and ranch doritos, family size
- 1 bottle taco sauce
- 1 jar salsa
How To Make crunchy dorito taco salad

Step 1Brown meat, drain fat. Add 3 seasoning packs with amount of water indicated, stir well and let simmer.

Step 2Heat up refried beans in a medium sized sauce pan, add 1/2 to full cup of meat mixture and stir well.

Step 3Set toppings out, and build your own.

Step 4We served homemade guacamole with ours. Guac: 3 avocados, peeled/chopped 3 medium sized limes, halved and juiced 1 small red onion, finely chopped Cilantro, chopped Salt/pepper to taste Mash lime juice and avocado together, leaving some pieces chunky for texture. Stir in cilantro, red onion, salt and pepper.
