I love these burritos and eat them often. I also will order any bean and cheese or meat, bean and cheese anywhere with the add-on of lettuce tomato. They taste better and are healthier that way.

    rosa maria or other refriend beans
  • 1 c
    romaine or other lettuce leaves
  • 1
    tomato chopped up
  • 1/2 c
    cheese shredded
  • 1/4 c
    salsa (i usually use pace)

    flour tortillas

How to Make Burritos ala Kaye Swain

Step-by-Step

  1. Warm the beans - I usually use the microwave
  2. Shred the lettuce, if you didn't buy it in small pieces
  3. Grate the cheese, if didn't buy pre-grated
  4. Chop the tomatos
  5. Heat the tortilla - depending on microwave - about 30-60 seconds. Fill the tortilla with beans, salsa, cheese, tomatos, lettuce, wrap, ENJOY
