pork chops with blackberry sauce
This is a simple recipe that I got from a friend. Perfect for weeknights. The fresh blackberries cut the sweetness of the sauce and brighten up the dish.

Ingredients
- 4 pork loin chops, 3/4 inch thick
- montreal steak seasoning, to taste
- 1/4 cup blackberry preserves
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1 dash curry powder
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
How To Make pork chops with blackberry sauce

Step 1Preheat grill. Brush both sides of chops with olive oil, then sprinkle both sides with Montreal Steak Seasoning, to taste. When grill is hot, place chops on grill and lower lid on grill.

Step 2Grill for about 10 minutes, turning about halfway through.

Step 3Meanwhile, combine the remaining ingredients except the fresh blackberries in a small saucepan. Bring to a bare boil, then simmer, stirring occasionally, until the preserves melt and are fully incorporated. Remove from heat and cover to keep warm.

Step 4When chops are grilled to your liking, remove from the grill, place chops on serving plate, and top with the sauce and some fresh blackberries.
