Ingredients
- 4 (8-oz) - center-cut pork chops
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cajun seasoning (or creole seasoning)
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 cup - plain yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium lemon, quarter (for garnish, optional)
- 4 sprigs fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
How To Make cajun style pork chops

Step 1Sprinkle the pork chops with 1 tsp of the Cajun seasoning; set aside.

Step 2Combine remaining 1/2 tsp Cajun seasoning with the flour and cornmeal, and mix well. Coat both sides of pork chops with the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off excess.

Step 3Heat butter and oil together in a large skillet over medium heat. Add seasoned pork chops, and saute for 7 to 10 minutes each side (thicker chops will require longer cooking time).

Step 4To serve, arrange pork chops on 4 individual dinner plates. Squeeze lemon over each serving. Garnish each with a lemon wedge and parsley, and serve immediately.
