Ingredients

  • 4 ounces glass noodles
  • 8 ounces crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 dash green onions, white and green parts separated
  • 2 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
  • 6 tablespoons chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

How To Make vietnamese crab and glass noodle dish

  • Step 1
    Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add the glass noodles and let boil for 5 minutes the remove from the heat, Cut the noodles with kitchen scissors and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a small bowl mix the Hoisin, chicken stock, and white pepper. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Add the oil to a sauté pan and add the white parts of the green onions and bell pepper. Sauté about 5 minutes Add the garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Add the crab meat and cook for 1 minute.
  • Step 4
    Drain the noodles and add to the sauté pan. Stir in the hoisin mixture and heat 2 minutes. Serve with fresh cilantro.
