Ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 3 tablespoons chopped basil
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
- 2 teaspoons tarragon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 tuna steaks (about 4 oz each)
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- micro greens
How To Make tuna with herbed aioli

Step 1Mix the olive oil, red wine vinegar, basil, thyme, tarragon and garlic together. Remove two tablespoons of the mixture and set aside.

Step 2Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper. Place in the olive oil mixture and let marinate 1 hour at room temperature.

Step 3Place the mayo in a bowl and add the two tablespoons of reserved marinade. Mix well to make the aioli.

Step 4Remove the tuna from the marinade and place in a hot pan over med high heat. Sear about 5 minutes each side. (More or less depending on how you like them cooked.) Serve with aioli and micro greens.
