Ingredients

  • SUSHI RICE
  • 1/2 cup sushi rice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • STACK
  • 4 tablespoons mashed avocado
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons diced small cucumbers
  • 1/3 cup small diced ahi tuna
  • 2 teaspoons Sriracha sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Kewpie mayo divided
  • 2 teaspoons furikake
  • 6 slices pickled sushi ginger
  • 2 tablespoons eel sauce

How To Make tuna sushi stack

  • Step 1
    Place the sushi rice in a bowl and add water to cover, and let it sit for 15 minutes. Drain the rice and place it in a steamer. Steam the rice for about 15 minutes. Add the salt and vinegar. Let cool.
  • Step 2
    Mix the sriracha and 1 Tbsp Kewpie mayo. Mix it into the tuna.
  • Step 3
    Peel and smash the avocado. Add the salt and vinegar.
  • Step 4
    Get your cake ring molds and start with the rice, and press it into the bottom.
  • Step 5
    Then add the avocado.
  • Step 6
    Then the cucumbers.
  • Step 7
    Top with tuna.
  • Step 8
    Then the furikake and the remaining Kewpie.
  • Step 9
    Remove the ring mold and then add the ginger and drizzle with eel sauce.
