Ingredients For teriyaki scallops

  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    mirin
  • 2 tsp
    sake
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 12
    scallops
  • 3
    scallions chopped
  • hoisin sauce

How To Make teriyaki scallops

  • 1
    Combine the soy sauce, mirin, sake, garlic and sugar. Add the scallops and let marinate about 20 minutes.

    Heat a broiler Line a broiler pan with foil. Brush with oil. Drain the scallops reserving the marinade. Place the scallops on the broiler pan.

    Brush the scallops with the marinade.and broil 4 inches from the heat souce for about 3 minutes. Turn the scallops and brush with marinade broil another 3 minutes.

    Serve garnished with scallions and hoisin sauce
