Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups v8 juice
- 4 cups chicken broth or water with lobster base
- 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup each diced celery and red onion
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon crystal hot sauce
- 12 ounces box of acini de pepe pasta
- 1 pound shrimp peeled and deviened
- salt and pepper to taste
- cilantro for garnish
How To Make tangy tomato sauce with shrimp & acini de pepe

Step 1Mix the first 7 ingredients together and place in the fridge to let flavors meld overnight.

Step 2Place the tomato mixture in a pot. Bring to a boil. Add the acini de pepe. Lower heat to a simmer. Simmer about 15 minutes. Add the shrimp and simmer for another 5 minutes. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Garnish with cilantro
