Ingredients
- 2 pounds medium shrimp peeled deveined and butterflied
- MARINADE
- 3 tablespoons rice wine or saki
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 2 tablespoons scallions chopped
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- SAUCE
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons rice wine or sake
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/3 cup water
- STIR FRY
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- scallions for garnish
How To Make stir fried hoisin shrimp

Step 1Mix the marinade together and add the shrimp. Marinade for at least 20 minutes. Remove shrimp and discard the marinade. Mix the sauce ingredients together and set aside.

Step 2Place the peanut oil in a skillet. Add the garlic and cook 15 second. Add the sauce and heat to boiling. Add the shrimp and toss to coat with sauce.

Step 3Heat uncovered for 3 minutes. Serve garnished with scallions.
