Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 8 cloves garlic minced
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1/4 cup sake or white wine
- 6 pounds mussels scrubbed and beareds removed.
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup cilantro coarsly chopped
How To Make steamed mussels with cilantro broth

Step 1In a pot with a lid add the oil and heat until hot. Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds. Add the water and the Sake or wine. baring to a boil. Add the cleaned mussels and cover the pan and cook about 5 minutes shaking the pan.

Step 2Add salt and pepper and cilantro to the pan. Discard any mussels that haven't opened.

Step 3Remove mussels with slotted spoon to serving dish and add the cilantro broth over the scallops and serve.
