Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons each paprika, black sesame seeds, white sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon each onion powder, dried thyme, salt and sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 8 oz ahi tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
How To Make spice rub seared ahi tuna

Step 1Mix the paprika, sesame seeds, garlic, onion powder, thyme, sugar, salt and white pepper together. Lay it flat on a plate.

Step 2Gently rub the Tuna steaks in the spices on both sides. Add olive oil to a skillet. Once it is hot sear the tuna on each side about 3 minutes.

Step 3If you want a more well done tuna you can put it in a 450 degree oven for 5 minutes.
