Ingredients

  • 6-8 ounces alaskan snow crab meat, frozen or canned
  • 1/2 cup celery
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • dash cayenne pepper
  • milk
  • 1 tablespoon sherry wine
  • 1/4 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 1 tablespoon snipped chives
  • cooked broccoli spears

How To Make snow crab mornay with broccoli

  • Step 1
    Thaw crab if frozen. Drain and slice, reserving liquid.
  • Step 2
    Saute celery, green onion, and garlic in butter until tender. Blend in flour, salt, and cayenne.
  • Step 3
    Add milk to reserved crab liquid to equal 1 1/4 cups. Add to skillet with sherry wine. Cook and stir until mixture thickens and bubbles..
  • Step 4
    Add cheese and stir until melted. Fold in crab and chives.
  • Step 5
    Serve over cooked broccoli spears.
