smoked salmon wrap
My favorite breakfast/lunch restaurant serves this tasty wrap. It's really HUGE, and I always share with my girlfriend, or bring the other half home. Here's my version, in single servings for two, or just make one, and save the rest of the salmon for another day! I'm so hooked on this wrap, I started making it at home for myself, during Covid, and not going out to restaurants.

Ingredients
- 2 8 inch spinach tortillas
- whipped cream cheese
- generous amount of red onion, slivered
- 1 teaspoon capers, or to taste, on each wrap
- very thin slices of cucumber, skin on
- a thick layer of baby spinach
- 3 ounces package, sliced and ready to eat, smoked salmon, divided
How To Make smoked salmon wrap
-
Step 1With a knife, spread a thick layer of cream cheese, in the center of the tortilla, leaving room at the bottom to fold up, and sides in.
-
Step 2Now layer in order, on top of cream cheese, red onions, capers, cucumbers, spinach. Top with half of the sliced smoked salmon.
-
Step 3Fold the bottom of the tortilla up, and the sides in. Secure with a toothpick. It's not the prettiest presentation, but it surely tastes delicious! Enjoy!
-
Step 4Feel free to add more, or less, of any of the ingredients. But to me, this hits the spot! The salmon is rich, and I can only eat one wrap. But I know there are others with a larger appetite than mine, so enjoy just one wrap, or both!
